My computer is infected with Spyware Protect 2009?

I went to this website and tried to download the malwarebytes’ anti-malware and when I finished downloading it didn’t let me get on to it. I clicked on it and it didn’t do anything. I have also tried doing a system restore both regularly and in safe mode and it never let me. The second time you had to click “next” it didn’t do anything.
I have Windows XP Pro
Will someone please help me out? I’ve been to find a solution to this problem and its almost impossible for me. PLEASE HELP
