How do I remove the trojan: Win32/privacycenter?

I cannot remove this trojan which will not allow me to download any “legitimate” spyware software, connect to microsoft nor any anit-virus definitions. Seems to be associated with Stopzilla which I was under the impression non longer was involved in “Rogue” advertising – malware. Please help!!
