I have PC-Cillin internet security that came with my dell laptop. How often should i run the spyware and virus

How often should i run the spyware and virus scan? I don’t keep my computer on so i run it manually. Is that all i need to run on my computer?

I would perform full scans once a week (make sure you have the latest virus/spyware updates). This should be adequate for normal computer use. One additional freebie that will also help detect spyware is spyware doctor starter edition (search on www.download.com). It is a great spyware remover (best detection on the market), and will help to remove spyware PC-Cillin might not find. Run this scan weekly as well and you should be virus/spyware free. Another useful utility to use to keep your computer running smoothly is CCleaner.
