Warning! Spyware Detected On Your Computer…?
So basically, I have this annoying blue wallpaper that says, “Warning! Spyware Detected On Your Computer…”. Whenever I try to search for a Spyware remover, it seems to know that I’m doing to so and won’t let me access any site that could get rid of it. After about ten minutes, my icons and taskbar have disappeared completely.
Does anyone know how I can fix the problem? The computer isn’t mine, so I’m flipping out.
I would really love to download the spyware removers, but the problem is that my icons have disappeared completely. I have no way of accessing the internet on the other computer.
And I was not looking up porn. I was trying to download a song. Perves.
I believe von skip… has you pointed in the right direction by using safe mode with networking; however I don’t believe either of the programs he suggested will remove Antivirus XP 2008.
Go to your add / remove programs and uninstall “AntivirXP08″.
Then restart in safe mode *with networking* and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, as per this procedure:
