My PC has virus, I suppose. Today when I started my PC, the wallpaper on my desktop had disappeared?

In the place of wallpaper, it was written WARNING : Spyware threat has been detected on your PC. Your computer has several fatal errors due to spyware activity . Click here to scan your PC for Spyware. In the tray ,on the right side many messages are appearing like, Internet attack attempt, Your security and privacy are at risk, Your computer is running slowly etc. Please help ,what shall I do to get rid of this problem. Can I operate the PC or not. genuine suggestions,please

As for your wallpaper, the trojan have hit your registry that take care of the wallpaper setting, unavoidable…

In your Question: “Click here to scan your PC for Spyware”, is that the message prompt by your Anti-Virus software, or it is a message out from nowhere?

and In your Question “Your Computer is running very slow”; this could be the trojan behind is working on large memory space.

My Advise is:

1. physically unplug your PC from the internet, leave the PC is isolated condition (means no network)

2. Back up your file if you can, if the trojan disable you from backup like burn into DVD, this is a trick – use WinZip, create a copy into a removable drive, since you been hacked, you possible can’t drag.

Do you own a third-party Firewall, Anti-Virus (excluded OneCare and Windows Firewall)???

3. if you have updated Anti-virus software, login to safe mode to scan the virus, trojan.

4. if you don’t have, get one. if you too stingy to get one, format your Disk Drive.
