I have a dell desk top,it has been running slow?

My desktop has been running slow for the last few days. I done a disk cleanup a defragment, virus scan,and a spyware and it still runs slow. I try to open a page sometimes it takes forever.And the top of the page will stay blank then it will go like it is suppose to. You try to download and it takes awhile. Any advice for me to do.

try ccleaner it should help
and the more stuff you have the more slow your computer is going to be
try deleting unused programs unused big files
