why does my pc run at 100% and lock up after about 45 mins on the internet?
if i restart it, it works fine for another 45mins. ive run a few different virus and spyware checkers and they dont find any problems
if i do ctrl alt del it says ybrowser.exe at 59,700K, then ypager.exe at 34,700k, then iSafe.exe at 25,000k then loads of smaller ones
Doubt its that, check this first its mainly do do with background services and processes which you dont need running. Click START then RUN, and type MSCONFIG. This will enter the system configuration click on the STARTUP tab then check through all processes untick the ones you think you might not need automatically strating up. Make sure you have the common ones running. Things like MSN and Quicktime and Java dont need to be running any advice let me know. Next thing go to the services tab on this and make sure you click HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES again untick things you dont want to be using all the time. This will not uninstall any of your programs.
Then click APPLY then Ok, give your system a restart the likely cause you have something clocking up in services.
LOOK FOR THESE IN YOUR SERVICES AND STARTUP DEFENIATE VIRUS OR SPYWARE
if i do ctrl alt del it says ybrowser.exe at 59,700K, then ypager.exe at 34,700k, then iSafe.exe at 25,000k then loads of smaller ones
