Avg Anti-spyware, or Windows Defender?
I ask another question asking to compare AVG Anti-Spyware and Ad-Adware SE, and now I will continue Ad-adware for sure, but we will also choose a different install, so will be between AVG Anti-Spyware and Windows Defender, so please give me your opinion? (I use AVG antivirus)
I would go with Windows Defender. AVG (formerly Ewido) Antispyware does not come with the real-time protection, unless you're willing to spend money to buy a license. PC Magazine has reviewed the program and found it to subpar. He did poorly to detect and eliminate spyware. PC Magazine gave it a 2 out of a possible 5. You can read their review: "ewido anti-spyware 4.0" (Http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0, 1895,1993995,00. Asp) On the other hand, both PC World and PC Magazine comments have bright for Windows Defender – although the version Final has not undergone rigorous testing.
