Why is my work computer so slow?
Suddenly, my laptop works very slowly. I ran an anti-spyware (Microsoft) and the virus-scan (Panda) but I still have the same problem. What can I do? Is it related to eMule? What can I do to fix?
Hello – This may not give you a straight answer, or even a great help – but I found a great site. Basically, if you make Manager tasks (normally Ctrl Alt Delete and then click Task Manager) … and see what is running in the background by going to the processes tab …. Often there are things running that should not be, or are running and using lots of memory CPU time / not really necessary. http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm Goto and see what each process is … You may find more obvious that can be removed … The site tells you to remove them using their software … but if you just search the file that runs on Your computer may be easier ways to stop them.
