How can I manually rid my computer of malware and spyware that diverts my browser?
I can not download a program from the Internet because malware redirects it to an ad. I tried everything and can not get rid of him. I turned off my system restore and installed an anti-virus and so far, the malware is leaving me alone. Thank you for everything your help.
Hi Fran, you need to follow the correct method, which can sometimes involve using a second PC to download sound install programs to a USB drive or CD-R for example …. To successfully remove malware infections (viruses, spyware, Adware, etc.) to from your PC, you must follow a methodical approach and the efficient use (and free) tools. Turn System Restore OFF so any infection that you remove is not restored. 2.) Scan with a combination of the best detection utilities that you will find different scanners can sometimes take different infections. For example, * McAfee Stinger – a stand-alone freeware utility can detect and remove specific viruses. * SpyBot Search & Destroy – spyware / adware * Lavasoft Adaware scan – for spyware / adware Note – this could be a good idea to unplug your network connection a Once you have updated with the latest definitions of viruses / spyware definitions. This is because, often, an infection tries to spread on your network. 3.) If the above fails or you're not sure if you are still infected, when you start your PC tap F8, select "Safe Mode" and repeat the test once you are connected.
