How do i get rid of spyware?
I have a HP laptop and everytime i sign on it has this pop up on the side that always tells me, “YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED!” and stuff. Idk what it is! Idk what to do, should i be worried about it and if i should, what do i do?! -_-
Ok listen, Download AD-Aware 2007, Spybot Search And Destroy and CCleaner then do a full cleanup on each program.
Spybot Is Here-http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?tg=dl-20&qt=Spybot%20Search%20And%20Destroy&tag=srch
Ad-Aware Is Here-http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
CCLeaner is here-http://www.filehippo.com/download/8df12f83ade22f96ae7abc5a72af046d/download/
These are all free and safe downloads and should not slow your computer down.
If you have a anti-virus that is making your computer run slow then i suggest using this efficient free Anti-Virus
AVG Free Edition-http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?tg=dl-20&qt=AVG%20Free%20Dition&tag=srch
With all these there is a big chance after scanning with Spybot and Ad-aware to get all your bad cookies out and cleaning your registry and old files with ccleaner then with the protection of AVG Free Edition you should be fine afterwards just like you have a new computer, Oh and also clear you site history because the virus could be anywhere.
