and I don’t see anything listed even with initials close. I do not see, when expanding files an drives C, D or otherwise. Vista came on this laptop and I guess would have come with a disk, too?? I will look. I think we’re onto something and the kight at the end of the tunnel is not a train!!! This is the 4 or 5 time I have used this forum in 2 days and I kept hetting the same advice about spybot, adware, delete Java & reinstall etc. Otherwise i wouldn’t have taken the time to list the things you mentioned. Maybe I should just reinstall anyway whether I find the C drive or not?? Maybe the pane you spoke of is a diffeent name? I am so grateful, THANK YOU!
