Can you add to this list of “-wares” ? Spyware, freeware, crippleware, vaporware, Adware… the list goes on!
Can you think of any that I missed? Please post them here. Wikipedia has entries for many of them but I do not see an entry linking them all together!

Some of the names I’ve come up with on my blog include:
Activationware, Dongleware, and Consumableware
My personal favorite: Underware. Re: Daemons and such, _under_ the hood programs. Big section, funny name.
