I keep getting a disgusting ad for spyware on my computer how do I get rid of it?
I was sent some filthing pornographic pictures on my computer , it said it was on my drive and to get rid of it, it wants to buy their service has anyone dealt with this before, I don’t want it popping up on my computer and I don’t want to pay for something when I antispyware.
Cleaning spyware is the thing i love the most…. and even more preventing them lol, i used Ad Aware, download it and update its definition files and close all ur browser windows (internet explorer or firefox or watever u use to surf the web) also use SpyBot, ive used it, its pretty good. download hijack this and save a logfile and go to http://www.hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english and copy and paste it there. and then analyze it and make sure u click on all the lil boxes that the site tells u to. last, but not least, download this lil tool that i personally i love, its called ATF Cleaner, once u have it, click on the little box that says Select All and then just empty selected. its gonna delete ur temporary files, the files u dont need and ur browser saves just in case u do need them in the future… there might be some cookies that might be doing popping those things up for u…. ALSO…. forgot to say, get AVG Free Editition, its a pretty good antivirus, in my opinion, better than Norton, norton uses a lot of RAM, which makes ur computer freeze A LOT. and AVG sometimes updates their virus list even before Norton ever does lol
