Is “Spyware Vanisher” safe to download to remove real spywares or is “Spyware Vanisher” itself a spyware?

My PC got infected by a Trojan virus, and later by spywares and adwares yesterday. Soon, it started experiencing all these: pop-up ads, warning about unauthorized PC intrusions, slow internet connection, momentarily lost control of my browser. Worried about possible info/data stolen, I began installing XXX Anti-Spyware free from the internet. At first, everything went alright but after half an hour or so, I began to receive alerts about PC intrusions again. Soon, the intruder seemed to be avoiding the software from functioning as it went stuck. So, I installed the “Spyware Vanisher” in order to remove any hidden viruses or spywares left. I received no more alerts afterwards and I managed to delete 1 unfamiliar folder from my PC named as “Video Access ActiveX Object”. Until now, I still have these 2 softwares installed on my PC. My doubt and confusion now is why there are still changes for my default home page. I also did some games downloads from the internets over the past 24 hours.

Ps:- Always check the rogue list(link below) before downloading any antispyware software.If the software you are downloading is on this list then it is spyware itself

(1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
(2) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .
(3) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one if your present anti virus is not protecting you .
