I need virus help with my laptop?
My gran got a new laptop about 3 weeks ago, its still kinda new, and she dosnt really now how to use it (as she wasnt brought up around laptops)
The laptop came with a free antivirus program so today i scanned her computer with that program and it said that she had 1000+ Trojans, Viruses, Worms, spyware.. etc however, the program will not cleara the computer of them because we have to pay for they full version, and we do not have enough money to do so.
I went onto the net to try and download some other antivirus programs like Avast! and AVG, but whenever i tried to download them a screen popped up and said that i couldnt and that internet explorer was closing to protect my laptops safety. i also tried putting a antivirus program onto my USB stick and installing it from there,It wouldn’t do it.
I know it sounds very confusing but any idea what i should do?
You should un-install the free antivirus program. That same thing happened to me but we had Norton and it didn’t pick it up! Buy Norton!
