Computer is showing following symptoms; can you find out the fault ?

>> Computer is working normally

>> No Virus, No Spyware, etc.

>> Computer restarts occasionally (not frequently)

>> Sound like ‘ssss…nnnnn…ssnn…’ comes from system unit (inside the cabinet)

>> This sound’s tone changes as I press some keys or open or close some application.

>> Temperature of processor may be high and it heats very fast.

>> I have removed, clean and re-connect the following components:
All Cables, RAM, Processor

>> Disconnected following components:
All Peripheral Devices, HDD, Cabinet LED

>> Problem remains same.

>> My suspected devices are SMPS, Processor, Heat Sink, Mothorboard, RAM.

>> But can you tell me what is the problem ?

>> Computer Configuration:
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz HT
Motherboard: Mercury Intel 865 Chipset
RAM: 768 MB DDR SD RAM (256 x 3)
SMPS: 400 Watt / 230 Volt SMPS (Good Quality)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2

The best advice given :o pen the case and see from where the sound comes.
Probably the cooling fans, or HDD running.
Do you work in an A/C room ? may be the noise comes from the AC unit !
In India now the temp is around 104F ( 40C). in most of the country.
