Where can I find a decent spyware/Adware program for free?

My computer has suddenly begun acting extremely weird. It won’t load things on certain websites that it used to load without a problem. When I click on some links on some websites it opens a new bar on its own and loads an ebay or shopping network website. When that starts, it won’t even let me surf the web. Where can I find a decent spyware/adware program to download for free that will clean my computer up?

FIRST – SHORT VERSION:
1 Use another computer to download Malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org
2 Rename the downloaded file to something like HELP.exe
3 Transfer the renamed file to a thumb drive or CD.
4 Boot the infected computer to SAFEMODE
5 Install the renamed file from the flash drive or CD.
6 Run the program.
This should remove your current infections.

MORE COMPLETE ANSWER:
There is no one BEST program for everyone! Each person’s individual computer usage is completely different. Some folks download illegal programs and music, which exposes them to more infections than any other behavior. Some folks only read their email and do some light surfing.

Because usage is different, the appropriate software is different for everyone.

Since NONE of the anti-spyware/anti-adware programs are 100 percent accurate in finding and removing spyware, you need *at least* two programs which you will run one after the other, not at the same time.
