I need help Now! My computer keeps telling me that I need a registration email and key for Antivirus 2009. ?

I have googled and several sites have said that this a maleware type of virus. How do I get rid of this? I ran the two spyware programs that I downloaded for free but they don’t seem to be doing anything for this.

You should have mentioned the names of the programs you downloaded so that we can consider if they’re good or not.

Well, it’s possible this virus installed itself pretty deep. So then you need to go to Safe Mode when booting, and run your cleaner programs then. Safe mode has lots less programming turned on, so that the cleaners have less files to search thru. Well, it’s kinda like that.

But it’s kinda detailed to do that. when you clean in safe mode, you’re cleaning where the virus might be. Then you reboot back into normal mode and clean again. that should take care of it.

Did you go to MajorGeeks.com and download some free programs?
I strongly suggest SUPERantispyware and Spybot. They are pretty good.

I don’t have much faith in McAfee or AVG. Used to be lots of people on Answers asking how to clean virus, and they had AVG on their computers.
