Adware and spyware?

i’ve got norton 360 on windows vista and it keeps telling me that i’ve got spyware.marketscore and adware.whenusearchbar but it wont do anything about it! it tells me to fix it manually but it doesnt actually tell me how. it just presents me with a get help button which is completely useless.
can someone help me remove them manually?
i don’t really want to get rid of norton 360 as we paid alot for it. isn’t there any way i can remove the adware myself?

I got rid of Norton and run AVG (Free) instead. Just updated to the “8″ version that seems to remove spyware as well as an anti virus. Download it free from “file hippo”
