I have a macbook and i’m afraid i have spyware.How can i find out?

On my home computer my E-bay account was hacked.How can this happen?How can i know if i downloaded spyware?

As far as I know mac does not have any known viruses infecting them yet due to the not as much intrest for crackers and the fact apple hires virus makers to make viruses for mac in a closed envirment so they can fix them.

Although there is a Trojan out there for mac computers, but that is only found so far on pirated apple products.

But anywhere here are some free anti-virus or mac if that puts your mind at ease.
