RAM usage constantly at 51%?
About a month and a half ago (maybe more) I noticed that my computer had slowed down dramatically and at some points just totally useless, unable to perform simple tasks such as play music. These periods only last about 4 minutes or so but are still a nuisance. I have a CPU usage, Network meter and CPU heat monitor gadgets in my side bar. Even when I am not doing anything the RAM usage is between 40-51% and at times when it slows down completely its at 95-100%. Both cores run at 1-10% usually, its just the RAM usage. What could be causing this? I have AVG Virus software, Zonealarm firewall and Ad-aware anti-spyware but it hasn’t picked up any viruses.
