what is tsqla.exe??? virus? spyware? what?
I blocked it using my firewall because i am having some suspicion on this. it doesnt seem to have a relation with my OS (windows xp) so i decieded to delete it. when i searched it under the windows/system32 folder, it wasn’t there although the firewall insists that it is there. i tried searching its definition on the net (i’ve tried almost every search engine) but they didn’t give me any results. btw, all hiden files and folders are shown when i tried to look for it. can somebody who experienced this crazy stuff help me on this??? thanks
if ever this is a legitimate software, i believe that it is not supposed to stay under the system32 folder…

If you put TERADATA WAREHOUSE MINER
in search engine as you see TSQLA in there
it leads to below.
Hope this helps.
“This innovative technology enables companies to convert information into insight, and insight into actions which support better, faster decisions,” said Randy Lea, vice president for Teradata products and services. “Teradata Warehouse Miner 5.0 has been uniquely designed to dramatically optimize analytics when deployed in combination with SAS, SPSS, Fair Isaac Model Builder or KXEN data-mining tools. The combination of the Teradata in-database performance with other vendors’ data-mining tools can speed model development as much as two to three times faster and runtime of data-mining models up to 25 times faster. This in-database performance is extremely valuable to our customers and partners because they use it to gain more insight, through more analytic models, executed against more customers’ data, across the organization in real time.”
ADDITIONAL>Look at a list of customers who
are using. This is not a legitimate program as it was put on without your knowledge, probably embedded in something you d/loaded or even a windows update>we will never know.
In January 2007, Microsoft and Teradata announced they are working together to optimize interoperability between Microsoft([R]) business intelligence solutions and Teradata([R]) Enterprise Data Warehouse to help information workers gain access to, analyze and report on critical data more quickly, and help streamline the delivery of business intelligence applications.
