Is anyone else using Yahoo Search now getting redirects to ads?
I have just recently started getting re-directs to mostly shopping comparison websites when I enter a Yahoo search request, or click on a link while at a Yahoo “searched” site. This doesn’t happen when I use Google search.
Has Yahoo recently introduced this feature to get more ad revenue?…. or am I dealing with some sort of malware which only affects Yahoo search? I’ve done several anti-virus and spyware scans (different programs), but nothing yet has cleared this problem
I’ve been using Yahoo as my primary search engine for a long time and I’ve noticed a negative change over the last couple weeks/months.
I don’t know what they’re doing, but I’ve started using Google instead.
