internet security, spyware, registry programs?

I looked at the NOD32 program, and also say their “smart security” program; is this good to use?

the only programs for finding spyware i have are spybot, spyhunter (heard this is not good), and ad-aware 2008. I have norton, but the only thing it ever finds is one (1) tracking cookie. I have heard many good things about spysweeper; who else has experience with this program?

as for registry, i currently use Registry Mechanic by PC tools. Is there anything better or do i have an adequte program?

ESET Smart Security is in my opinion the best internet security programs. It has anti virus, anti spyware, firewall and much more.
I have ESET Smart Security protecting my computer since November and no regrets al all.

Registry Mechanic is a very good and trustworthy program for cleaning up your registry. I have also Comodo Registry Cleaner installed. That one is free and as good as Registry Cleaner, what cleaning the registry is concerned. However, Registry Mechanic has some more very good options that Comodo Registry Cleaner does not have.
