Remove Advanced Virus Remover (with catch)?
My main computer just got a nasty spyware that I heard about a looong time ago, called Advanced Virus Remover. It says that System Restore, Task Manager, and all my anti-virus software (including Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware) were disabled by a group administrator. I knew that isn’t true though, because before I received the virus I could access every single one of those.
Can anyone tell me of a way to remove AVR COMPLETELY with my qualifications?
Again, I cannot use Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware.
Restart You computer Safe Mode with Networking:
1.Log out and reboot your machine.
2.When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3.Select Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.
4. Login. If the malware has changed your password, try logging in as Administrator. By default, Administrator has no password.
5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.
