What’s the best way to make sure antivirus360 is off my computer?

I went into windows system 32 and removed, searched and removed av360.exe. I downloaded spyware doctor, latest windows defender, and malwarebytes.
How do I know I am safe do online transactions like banking or billpaying? I heard spyware keeps track of all your keystrokes, so am I safe?
A previous forum mentioned manually removing from your registry. I dont know how and I am nervous of the prospect. Can a novice remove from registry with some help, or do I need registry cleaner software? If so, which is the best?
