How do I remove Spyware Fighter?

My computer recently started to act strange. Then I started to get these warning messages telling me that I should let a program called Spyware Fighter scan my computer. I don’t really trust this thing because it appeared so suddenly. I want it removed from my computer, but I’m not really sure how to do it properly. Can anyone help me out here?
