VISTA 2008 spyware / virus help!?

trojan virus –vista antivirus 2008 and spyware shredder

I have used spyware doctor to get rid of most of the virus, after 2 scans of the cpu it still remans in bits and pieces every now and then. How do I get rid of it completely?

Also on my Toshiba laptop there at the bottom right hand side of the screen (where the time is displayed) directly next to it, it reads “VIRUS ALERT” how do I remove this from the screen?

Download the following freeware to fix:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Once downloaded, install, update then scan, first with RogueRemover and follow any prompts to remove this parasite.

Then use anti-malware, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

When completed, a log will open in Notepad. The rogue applications should now be gone.
