how do i remove trojan viruses and adware from my computer?
currently have two files in my computer titled “A0105247″ (application file) and “INFECTED” (Text Document). these are under “quarantine” by my anti-virus program.
using windows xp home edition, windows xp sp2, VirusScan On-Access.
Go to http://www.avast.com and do a scan on their homepage. Then REBOOT AFTER the Viruses have been removed. THEN go back and download their FREE Virus Program then REBOOT again and you will be OK.
Be sure to INSTALL Avast before you shut down and reboot the second time
