I need your help in removing RAT (remote adminastration Tool)?

My antivirus/spyware scanner won’t remove it. I also tried spyware and Adware remover, they wont work. How do I stop myself from being hacked, without reformating my pc

some of the precautions you need to follow are
1) Disable system restore in windows XP
2)Boot XP in safe mode and run scan of antivirus program
