Does anyone know a free anti-spwyare that ISNT a Free Trial and has live resident shield?

I got infected by an spyware called relevant knowledge and it significantly decreased the speed of my computer and now I am fighting back =). I have won the fight but i need something to fight off spyware and block it. Basically i need the following…scanner/shield/updates. Thats all. If anyone can tell me what they use plesae do so. Do not say antivirus like AVG or Avast cuz AVG’s 8.0 was said to have anti-spyware integrated but it never came up showing any spwyare when i scnaned my folders.
