what is the best program that has spyware blocker, firewall, antivirus, popup blocker that you pay one time?

i found Winantivirus but i would have to pay every year.

Ummmmmm, actually that will pretty much be the case with everyone. It is a subscription, like with your telephone service or the newspaper that you get. If you want to get the updated version ona regular basis (which you do, otherwise there is no point), you are just going to have to pay them.

Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 is exactly what you are looking for. It contains an antivirus, antispyware, and a firewall. They are the best out there. It is a Russian company so what do you expect. The link I provided shows a comparison between Kaspersky, McAfee, and Norton.

Don’t waste your money on anything else, especially McAfee and Norton. They used to be good but recently they have just been crap. The softwares (running in the background) are just so…BIG and they bog down your computer. They take up so much RAM and processing power that they are not even worth it.

Now, if you want to stay free, then go with AVG.

AVG is completely free and it is actually very decent. I think AVG is even better than Norton or McAfee. The only thing is that it is only an anti-virus. AVG is very small and you won’t even notice it running in the background.

Zone Alarm is the free firewall to get. They are pretty good too for a free software.

So AVG and ZoneAlarm is what I use.

I used to do this for a living and I have tested Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton, and AVG. Kaspersky won because there this one virus which was embedded in a compressed file and not even AVG was able to detect it. Kaspersky was the only one that detected and succesfully cleaned out the virus.
