How do I remove Personal Guard 2009?

I have no idea how this program got installed on my computer but it is REALLY annoying. I looked it up and I downloaded STOPzilla (the crappiest program I have EVER downloaded), Avira AntiVirus (which honestly isn’t doing much), Hijack This (which isn’t doing much either), Spyware Doctor (which recognizes the virus but in order to remove, I have to buy it…the same goes with STOPzilla) and Malwarebytes (which does a good job finding the virus but as soon as I reboot, the virus is temporarily gone but comes back). I also have McAfee installed which isn’t even recognizing the virus! So what do I do? I cannot restart the computer in Safe Mode (I get the infamous Blue Screen of Death) and I cannot open “msconfig”. There are no processes running called personalguard.exe or anything like that, it does not show up in the registry, nor is it in “Add and Remove Programs”. What do I do? I want this thing gone!
