trojan/virus problem…solution needed!?
Okay so I was watching Naruto online on some random site and I was getting a LOT of popup windows (e.g. your pc is under attack, download security software etc.) so I decided to restart windows. Now sometimes it wont even get past the logon screen and if it does, then I see this fake spyware detector software running on background and asking for money…eventually my laptop hangs.
System restore is not working for me as I didnt set any points. I used to use an unregistered Kaspersky 2010 which obviously didnt help. Spyware doctor couldnt do much either. Is there anyway I can fix this problem from safe mode (e.g. deleting the trojan file from system files/application data directory) or run an antivirus (i wasnt allowed to run symantec antivirus from safe mode). Please help!
