TrendMicro, creator of the well-known HiJack This program, has created an online program known as HouseCall that scans your computer for vulnerabilities, fixes the problems it finds, and then produces a detailed and useful report. AVG is another credible company to produce a quality online Spyware removal tool. Their tool, Ewido’s online scanner, does much the same thing as HouseCall.
There are of course the well-known antivirus companies, McAfee and Norton, who also offer online Spyware removal services. Even Microsoft provides a free online scanner for removing Spyware (Windows Live OneCare).

However, be careful when using online Spyware removal web sites. Furthermore, make sure you are at the genuine company site, as some hackers have even created fake duplicates of authentic scanners. For example, a fake (and dangerous) version of TrendMicro’s Housecall program exists.
If you come across the web site of a company you are not familiar with, do not provide information or use the service without first researching the company’s background and authenticity. Don’t put your computer at greater risk than the benefit such a scan would be producing.
