Is there a way to Scan a program before downloading it?
sick of being worned that a program i’m downloading has a Virus or adware etc
so it may be great if there is a virus scanner for programs online

The only way I know of that scans something defore downloading is through your email. Almost all emails scan the file before downloading. As far as programs off the web no. There are online scanners but they only scan files already on your computer.
Look at it this way, at least you have the warning so you can cancel the download. If you are downloading a crack for something almost all of them are infected with something or the keygen for it is infected.
So your virus/spyware protection on your computer is warning you that the file is infected and giving you the first and best chance to protect your computer and your files.
