How do I remove Spyware Protect 2009?!?

Please, please, please help me! Spyware Protect 2009 has attacked my laptop and I cannot seem to get rid of it! I’ve looked at many websites dedicated to the removal of this product, but none work. They all tell me to search and delete the Spyware Protect folder from my computer as a first step, but there is no such folder to be found =( The virus has 3 popups that appear on my monotor whenever I turn it on and frequently freezes and/or restarts on its own. I have McAfee and have been able to do one full scan before my laptop restarts or freezes. But, McAfee never found Spyware Protect as a result. HELP?!
Unfortunately, I looked at all the sites you guys posted and some looked like they might work, but when I tried getting on my infected laptop, Spyware Protect 2009 wouldn’t let me open the internet to run them without “purchashing Spyware Protect 2009 to save my computer!” AGH. I hate computers lol.

you don’t have to buy a new laptop. you can simply format drives and reinstall windows, this will help for sure. but that’s not the only one solution to your problem.

don’t blame mcafee. it’s not supposed to deal with infections like spyware protect. you need anti-spyware to prevent and to delete frauds like that.
