I can’t remove Spyware Protect 2009! I can’t run Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Help!?
I got the virus yesterday.
I tried everything.
People told me to run Malwarebytes AntiMalware but it won’t open.
I tried it in safe mode (networking) but it wont open either.
I tried downloading a new MBAM but the setup won’t even open.
I can’t do anything in normal mode because it freezes everytime I get to the desktop. I also can’t even fully use the internet.
Everytime I click a link, something else opens. An ad site. Im thinking its full of spyware.
I tried everything else.
Because I can’t use my desktop, I have to use my PSP for solutions.
I found a lot in Y!Answers but none of them work.
I just wanted to ask the question myself with all the details.
Im running out of options. I don’t know what to do.

Can you get in to ‘Start’ and then ‘Run’? Try and follow this instructions first, and then follow the instructions to install and load Malwarebyte’ Anti-Malware.
* Click on Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc and click OK
* On the View menu click on Show hidden devices
* Browse to Non-Plug and Play Drivers and you should see something like TDSSserv.sys
* Highlight that driver and right click on it and select DISABLE
* Now RESTART your computer.
To install the program:
Right click on the installer > ‘Properties’ > rename the installer
How to load up Malwarebytes again:
Right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes > go to ‘Properties’ > go to ‘Find Target’ > rename it, for instance ‘pocholo.exe’ and then run it from the directory, not the shortcut (unless you rename it from within the shortcut itself, as well).
