Spyware Guard is a program put out by the makers of Spyware Blaster (Java Cool) Like Spyware blaster, it provides real time protection against Spyware and will auto scan files before they are run checking them for Spyware and giving you the option to delete or quarentine the files in question. The program also works to prevent browser HiJacks (only designed for IE AFAIK) and runs in the system tray. It’s a great companion to the other malware removal programs for some added computer protection.

My question is about the updates. I downloaded it, and ran the latest updates and it said that they were like from 2004?! I got it from Major Geeks, and several others at Geeks and Cnet couldn’t praise the software highly enough. But they also had questions about the updated definitions. What’s up with the date on the latest updates? Yes, it is the latest version.
