WinAntivirusVista-XP is a Dangerous Fake
Too often people don’t take the time to verify the authenticity of a program until it is too late. In the midst of all of these threatening pop ups, WinAntivirusVista-XP is also staying connected to the Internet without your knowledge so that it can download its partner programs onto your computer. It also redirects your browser when you are trying to search for something online and stays running at all times in the background, hogging your computer’s processing speed and Internet bandwidth.
What is sad is that many people continue to fall prey to the tricks of programs like WinAntivirusVista-XP because they really are in computer trouble, and they really do need a legitimate program to help them. Malicious software developers know this, and they play on people’s fears of computer failure and having to wipe their hard drive.
If you are currently dealing with a WinAntivirusVista-XP infection, it is important that you take steps to remove it immediately. The longer that it stays on your computer, the more damaging and annoying it becomes.
