CoolWebSearch in the registry?

Webroot found CFS waaay back in my registry. I scanned w / like 4 other programs, but they have nothing found. Should I worry about it? I removed easily. also, I have not had any symptoms of infection by CFS, but it may be slipped in somehow.

MS may have left a file not found in the records that again after Anti-Virus did was employment, as with most Trojans custom built. The foolproof method of eliminating this would make a regedit. However, it is a bit risky, because it is not an area for fans to enter. Anyway, since the only alternative you have is to format the disk, I'll walk you through it now. Please do understand that it is a very delicate operation and try to have someone who is good at the computer help you there. Go Startris click. Click "Run" and click it. In the dialog box that appears, type "regedit" and press Enter. In the Control Registry Change it seems, go to Edit and click it. In the menu that appears, click on "Search" and click it. In the dialog box that appears, type "CoolWebSearch" and press Enter. The right side of the control panel should meet with the values with that tag. Select them and then right and "Delete" them. Repeat the procedure until you find nothing more. As it can be a folder with another name, Select "SP" and "Cool Web Search" and things like that. Delete all the related values. If you do this exercise, it is recommended to disable Restore utility system where there is probably a copy of this secret. This will make the system restore copies available to delete.
