I have some sort of a virus or spyware on my computer and i have no idea how to remove it. Can anyone help me?

My computer says “warning! spyware detected on your computer! install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer! I’ve downloaded so many anti-spyware and anti-viruses but none of them seem to help. They just scan my computer and tell me names on different files that dont make any sense to me. If someone is knowledgeable in this field, please help me!!!
