Hello, is it possible to run “Spyware Doctor” alongside the “avast 4.7 home edition antivirusscanner? or no go

I think the only problem you will have is some lag. The two programs you mentioned both are heavy in resource usage. You may notice a significant performance decrease. If you didnt already buy those programs, I highly recommend AVG Anti Virus and Spybot Search & Destroy. Both are free and work just as good, or better than any program sold in retail stores.
