Virus Problem. When I go to the Internet I receive a pop up message from Trend Micro PC-cillin. The message?
reads:
Real-time Scan
Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security has detected a virus, spyware application, or other Internet threat, and performed the action specified.
Infected file: C:PROGRAM FILESSTARWARE316BINSTARWARE316.DLL
Virus name: ADW_COMET.AG
Scan action result: Denied Access.
Note: If Search for and clean Trojans is enabled and is executed after scanning, you can click Next to view final scan result information.
When I run a scan, nothing? Is there anything I could do to get rid of this problem. Dell suggests I run the Dell PC restore.
I don’t want to do this, I will lose to much information that is stored on my computer.
Please, any suggestions?

I get that a lot with various virus names. I believe it means that Trend has made the infected file so that it cannot be accessed and isn’t a threat. Unless it tells you that you need to manually delete it, just close the window and don’t worry about it.
