adware vs spyware
need your advice please?

re: Adware/spyware removal

how do i identify which tasks/programs are considered suspicious/malicious?

i’ve downloaded software that removes most – but now i cannot figure out what to delete from: the ACTIVE TASKS or the STARTUP PROGRAMS list?

since i upgraded Internet Explorer v. 8; [yesterday 27th] i’ve started getting more adware traffic]

[what i've looked for: no company name/weird date entry ie, 1102/2324/11500/recent date added, ie, 3/28/09]

could you provide examples of what to look for–what are the indicators that a program/task should be deleted?

thanks A-BUNCH!

I would suggest you don’t delete anything from your hard drive. Deleting the wrong thing can prevent your computer from loading at the start-up.

If you want to get rid of any sort of viruses, then perform a system recovery.

IE 8 is not yet stable, I would suggest you stay with IE 7.
