How do I see when a program was installed on my PC- I don’t have Vista. Am trying to remove an Adware virus?

My anti-virus didn’t pick up this virus, even after multiple updates and scans. I know the date and general timeframe it started and am trying to find programs that were installed on my computer at about the same time. Any tips for how to find this thing and remove it would be appreciated.

Check the time stamp on the folder for the program, it will show you the time/date the program was installed.
