What is sogou adware? How dangerous and how did it get on my laptop?
I have not used my laptop in a month. Today my Webroot AntiVirus/AntiSpyware found sogou adware. Can you tell me what that is and how it got on my pc? This is the first time that Webroot discovered a problem. My Webroot has been running for three hours so far this evening. Usually it is done sweeping in very little time.
Is the fact it found sogou adware and is still running after over three hours a problem? My pc is running fine.
It usually comes in on a trojan, will put pop up ads on your PC and tracks your searching habits. Try Malwarebytes to zap it. Download, update, and run a full scan. You may have to rename the Malwarebytes file to xxx.exe.
