Whose software specifically requires the DirectNetAdvertising adware?

DirectNetAdvertising keeps reappearing on my computer and every time I remove it using AVG, it tells me that by deleting the file I could be breaking an agreement with some bundled software I’ve downloaded. Does anyone know specifically which software it is that requires the DirectNetAdvertising adware or malware?
