Viruses in my System Volume Information folder?

I am running on Windows XP Professional and after a recent virus scan using Avast! the anti virus program found both a trojan and adware in my System Volume Information folder. I’m not sure if my computer will be damaged at all if I delete these files. The one with the trojan is called A0047124.dll and the one with adware is called A0047125.exe

That’s the usual place viruses attach themselves. Just heal what Avast finds, if that doesn’t work then quarantine them. Either way, you have it covered
